WebCsound is a complete software package for making computer music. Csound offers the opportunity to produce different sounds, such as a simple sine wave, a complex sprectrum, noise, or to work with sampled sounds. We write Csound code which is then compiled. When we run it, it creates a stream of numbers representing audio. WebThis accesses the Csound instance low-level IO buffers, through calls to Csound::Spin() and Csound::Spout(), in order to route the selected audio to it. Finally, inside a processing loop a call is made to Csound::PerformKsmps(), which does the actual signal processing. A basic model of how the plugins work is shown in below (fig.1).
