Even if it were to loosen like the Imus bit, it would not leave the same sharp, flat edge and opening simply because of the way those pieces fit together. WebI bought my first bit from Brenda Imus and this is a knock off - however the first Imus bits also were defective and the joint in the middle eventually broke - fortunately the bit was not in a horses' mouth when it came apart. WebJun 28, 2007 · Gloria, I know the Imus bit has been talked about recently on here. I had one-it was a nice bit--but it did not fit Dusty's mouth at all-it only comes in one size---the bit hung out of Dust's mouth, causing the middle part to clamp down on his thick tongue every time the reins were touched--he even reared with it--which is not at all like Dusty.

If they are under 1yr old, they will be replaced free. If they are between 1-2yrs, they will be replaced for a $40 fee.
